Looking for the top dietary supplements for 2020? I have some recommendations for you!
We work with a lot of dietary supplement companies here at Reisdorf Writing Service creating amazing content to increase brand authority and trust. Our team has worked hard to develop an on going mutually beneficial relationship with many of these brands. We are proud of the work we do together and the products we help spread the word about.
I wanted to share some of my client’s products I am absolutely loving in 2020 (and using myself). To be honest, I am not a huge dietary supplement user even as an RD. But, these products stand out to me for several reasons including the quality of brand, functionality of the product, and the positive effects they have had on my personal health.
Top 5 Dietary Supplements for 2020
Can you tell I am turning 40 this year? Two of my recommendations are for products that improve your skin, one is for sleep, and two are anti-inflammatory because this old body just ain’t working how it used to.
Yep, collagen is still HOT. I mean who doesn’t want smoother, wrinkle free skin? Collagen is a type of protein found in the connective tissues of animals. Certain types of collagen supplements have been found to improve the appearance of skin, hair, and nails.
What I love about collagen supplements is that they are so easy to use. Just add a scoop to your daily coffee and it’s done! What could be easier?
My favorite collagen product is called Optimized Collagen by Naturenetics. This particular brand pays incredible attention to detail and has their products third party tested for every possible harmful ingredient. They are truly meticulous about their products.
Skin Boosting Formulas
I recently learned about a very innovative brand via a LinkedIN connection and was completely impressed. The only issue with collagen (for some people) is that it is made from animals. But, with the plant-based craze going on right now there needs to be an alternative for those who prefer it.
Enter Rejuvenated, a beauty supplement brand that has cracked the code on vegan collagen with their Skin Perfecting Complex. It contains an ingredient called Botani-Col that is a “vegan fusion of amino acids to promote collagen synthesis”. So although it technically “isn’t” vegan collagen, it is the first product on the market to come anywhere close. I also love their Hydration products, they really helped me get through the holiday celebrations this year.
IVL’s Go Ruby Go
Fruits and veggies are the healthiest foods out there, but it can be hard to eat your daily allowance. Enter Go Ruby GO, a delicious and healthy way to get a few more fruits and veggies into your diet (of course it doesn’t sub eating the real thing!)
My kids Go Ruby Go. They fight over drinking it every time I mix it up. It is basically a powdered fruit product that contains over 40 fruits, berries, and high-fiber ingredients. It is my absolutely favorite afternoon pick me up, instead of caffeine. It is also a great, refreshing alternative to sugar-laden juice for the kids. Did I mention it tastes delicious?
CBD is everywhere these days. One of my team members recently purchased CBD infused massage cream it at her local shoe store. But, due to it being so new to the market, it can be hard to know which brand is best.
I personally trust the new line of CBD by BRL Sciences called Zebra CBD. This brand cares about science. In the launch of this product, they have made a significant effort to NOT make false claims about what CBD can do, while providing sound scientific evidence to back up its use. I know because the team and I wrote most of the articles on their new site!
I have been using CBD for sleep and it has really helped me out.
Qunol’s Turmeric Cucumin Powder is another one of those easy to take products. It is an unflavored high-potency curcumin powder that mixes easily into any drink. Although it does change the color of the drink to yellow, it has no flavor. So, in theory, you could mix it into anything if you don’t mind the yellow color. I have tried putting it in oatmeal and coffee so far. It makes me feel good that I am doing something “anti-inflammatory” for myself in a super simple way.
These are my favorite dietary supplements for 2020. If you can’t already tell, I don’t really like taking pills and need products that are easy to add to my day. All of these make it so easy to reach my nutrition and wellness goals with little effort.
